Building Skills, Confidence, and Independence — Together

At Unify, disability support means working alongside people as they build practical skills, connect with their community, and work towards greater independence.

Support can look different for each person. Some people may need help with personal care and everyday tasks, while others may want support developing skills, accessing the community or living more independently.

Our team works with participants to provide respectful assistance that reflects their individual needs, goals and daily routines.

Disability care can support people with physical, intellectual, psychosocial or sensory disabilities with activities that may be difficult to manage independently.

Support may be provided at home or in the community and can include personal care, household tasks, mobility, communication, social participation and emotional support. The purpose is to provide practical assistance while respecting each person’s choices, abilities and independence.
